TUNE IN TO SEE HOW UHEALTH’S LIFESAVING INNOVATIONS ARE CHANGING MEDICINE.

UHealth – University of Miami Health System and the Miller School of Medicine push the boundaries of medical science every day.
Breakthrough Medicine, our new documentary series, goes inside our University-based health system to educate South Floridians about what sets us apart. Viewers will share in our triumphs as we discover cures for diseases, save lives with new surgical procedures, and give hope to patients who feared they may not see another day.
Each episode of Breakthrough Medicine covers a specific topic, from cardiac surgery to stem cell research, and shows how the medical pioneers at UHealth are changing the face of medicine. In the premier episode, UHealth physicians work to save the life of a man suffering with aortic stenosis using an experimental treatment performed as part of a clinical trial available in Florida only at University of Miami Hospital.
