UHealth’s Medical Wellness Center

The University of Miami Medical Wellness Center, a 60,000 square-foot fitness and exercise facility located on the UHealth/Miller Campus, was featured in SOBeFit magazine (May/June 2009) in story documenting the journeys of six of the magazine’s staff members as they completed a corporate fitness program at the Medical Wellness Center. Open to the public, Wellness Center has amenities and programs for members of all fitness level, including: towel service, fully equipped locker rooms with saunas, steam rooms, and whirlpools; a therapy pool used for premier aquatic programs; and a lab designed for fitness assessments conducted by Certified Wellness Instructors.

Features also include a 15,000 square foot fitness floor with more than 100 pieces of state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, three group fitness instructional classrooms, a group cycling studio, and Pasha’s Restaurant that serves healthy Mediterranean cuisine daily.

Wellness Instructors are available on the fitness floor during all of our operating hours to assess members with exercise programming, and our Group Fitness Exercise Program offers more than 70 classes per week, including yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, and cardio classes.
