International Health Center at UHealth
Each year thousands of patients come to University of Miami Health System for specialized medical care. The International Health Center provides a central resource for international patients to coordinate their health services as UHealth's extensive netowrk.
Each patient is assigned a Patient Representative who customizes every aspect of their care, efficiently delivered in state of the art facilities. Our Patient Representatives can assist in obtaining appointments and offer a wide range of specialized services to ensure that each patient's experience is comfortable and meets their expectations.
An Accent on Service
Traveling to a foreign country for medical care can be stressful. That’s why, from your first contact to your final follow-up visit, you can expect a team of professionals from the International Health Center to offer comprehensive, compassionate assistance. Our services include:
- Assistance with visa letters
- Translation services
- Ground transportation to/from the UHealth medical campus
- Hotel referrals at preferred corporate rates
- Payment arrangements and special-price packages
- Dietary requests
- Spiritual support
