University of Miami Health System provides cancer care through Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, South Florida's only university-based cancer center. Sylvester's multidisciplinary health care team provides clinical services, innovative treatment strategies, and cancer research for medical breakthroughs.
In addition to the facility on the Miami-Dade medical campus, Sylvester also has a satellite facility, UM/Sylvester at Deerfield Beach, which offers residents of Broward and Palm Beach counties a broad range of services for the treament of a variety of cancers.
