The Dr. John T. Macdonald Foundation Center for Medical Genetics

Formation of the Dr. John T. Macdonald Foundation Center for Medical Genetics was prompted by the completion of the Human Genome Project and the increasingly prominent role that medical genetics will play in human health care.

An integral part of UHealth Pediatrics, the Mailman Center for Child Development , offers extensive research facilities for education, and contains everything needed to fulfill its mission of research, training, and services to children with special needs and their families.
